Hi there..
I realize this is wayyy too late (talk about time), but i came across great description and explanation of the concept of time in African cultures by Ryszard Kapuscinski in his 'The shadow of the sun'.

Anyway, best of luck,

Hi everyone,
I am currently doing research for the 'meaning of time' in west african culture; specifically Ghanian culture, any book or artical references on the subject would be hugely appreciated.

I am sieving through some titles now but the list generally for the significance of time in other cultures is humongous, especially since they are usually paragraphs to pages worth in ethnographies, but none too specific. Therefore any help or advice from your experiences would be well and truly appreciated.

Thanks!!
