Which schools of anth theory blow your mind, and why?
I find Edward Said's treatise on "Orientalism" to be quite useful, although there is a part of me that fears that if anthropologists weren't exoticising the other they'd be out of a job. I think it still presents some REALLY useful perspectives for the wanna-be Malinkowski.
