I recently wrote a small paper on how I thought the Japanese fashion movement that started in the Harajuku district displays the westernization of their culture (from collectivist to individualist) and was wondering if anyone had thoughts on this or knew of any articles or readings I should look at. Although I am done with the paper I am still fascinated. . .

I did a quick scan of the net and anthro journal resources, but didn't see anything. I know very little myself, but I'd be interested to know what you came up with and what your ideas were.
